How Clear Aligners Work?
1. Custom Treatment Plan

First, patients visit a dentist or an orthodontist for a consultation.

During the consultation, a dentist exams the teeth and takes a precise 3D digital scan of the mouth.

Patients are able to see a digital preview of their new smile before the aligners are created.

2. Preparation of Aligners

After the digital impression is made, the custom treatment scan is sent to a digital fabrication facility.

At the facility, technicians examine patient’s dental arches to ensure proper fit. The technicians also add gingiva and create the sequence of aligners based on the doctor’s instructions.

Then, they place the digital plan online for the doctor to review and approve.

Once approved, the digital model is transferred to a production facility and the aligners are fabricated.

The clear aligners are then sent directly to the doctor and then delivered to the patient.
